There is a moment in formulating a product when you know you've got it right. Not because of data or testing,though both matter but because of how it feels on your skin. The Camellia body lotion was that moment for me.
I had been searching for a body lotion that did what it said without synthetic shortcuts. Most body lotions are largely water, cheap emulsifiers and fillers. The good ingredients are present in amounts too small to matter. I wanted something that actually nourished deeply, lastingly, without leaving residue or disrupting the skin's natural balance.
The answer came from two botanical traditions that had never been combined before in quite this way.
The Base: Chamomile Hydrosol
Most body lotions use water as their base. I chose chamomile hydrosol the pure distilled floral water produced during steam distillation of chamomile flowers. This is not chamomile extract or chamomile fragrance. It is the most bioavailable, most therapeutically complete form of chamomile you can put on skin.
